In a pot put 3 tablespoons of olive oil and cut onions and garlic in small pieces, stir them for a bit and cook for about 4-5 minutes and add water. After that add the lentils, salt, pepper, tomato paste and bay leafs. It takes up to an hour these particullar lentils. If you use the smaller ones is easier to cook approximately 45 minutes and taste is way better. Remove bay leaves before serving.
When ready to server sprinkle little oilve oil on top and a tablespoon of vinegar and add pieces of bread, mix it. This dish is simple fast and healthy.
